Tom Louis’ background as a practicing pharmacist has proven invaluable in medical and personal injury cases, as well as in Tom’s depositions of physicians and other experts in scientific fields. He has extensive experience in malpractice defense and class action suits, and has represented clients in cases involving asbestos, tobacco, and pharmaceutical products, as well as many other industries. Tom also has an extensive premises liability practice.
Tom has taught seminars on Mississippi pharmacy law, pharmacist malpractice, liability, and asset protection planning for Mississippi pharmacists, and has been a guest columnist for the Mississippi Pharmacist Journal. In 2003, he was named one of the Outstanding Lawyers of America. Every year since 2006, he has been selected for inclusion in Mid-South Super Lawyers. In 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2023, Tom was named to The Top 50 Mississippi attorneys list, having earned one of the highest point totals in the Mid-South Super Lawyers nomination, research and blue ribbon review process. He has also been recognized as a Best Lawyer in America each year since 2016.
Tom earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Mississippi and the J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law.
