Daniel J. Hammett is a skilled civil litigator whose practice primarily focuses on the defense of direct actions against insurance companies. Such actions include complex coverage disputes and bad faith claims involving property, casualty, automobile, and workers’ compensation policies, among others. In addition, Daniel brings years of experience successfully litigating complex commercial disputes and other cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, employment law, and unfair competition. Daniel’s success in these areas has spanned both federal and state trial courts. Daniel also has successfully argued before the Mississippi Supreme Court, a venue where he once served as a legal intern to the Honorable James W. Kitchens.
