Wells Marble is joining the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Bar in effort to help raise awareness and also to invest in Mississippi children by raising funds for more scholarships of injured workers. We will work together with our clients and the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission to invest in this non-controversial aspect of workers’ compensation.
Kids’ Chance of Miss. is a non-profit organization created to help provide educational opportunities and scholarships for children of workers seriously injured on the job or killed on the job. Total Scholarships awarded through the 2015 academic year in Mississippi were $211,750.
To do our part, our firm will host an inner-office pizza party where the cost of attendance will be any donation amount. All money raised will go to Kids’ Chance.
