WELLS MARBLE IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT

Rajita Iyer Moss has become an equity member of the firm. 

Rajita Iyer Moss is an experienced litigator with over twenty years of legal experience in federal and state courts in Mississippi. She focuses her practice in areas of major civil litigation, with an emphasis on premises liability defense, and she also represents institutional clients as board attorney/general counsel. Prior to joining Wells Marble, Rajita was the managing partner at an established firm. Rajita maintains an AV Pre-Eminent Rating with Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in Best Lawyers in America.

Hunter B. Horne has become a member of the firm. 

Hunter’s practice involves defense of workers’ compensation claims, as well as general insurance defense and appellate work. He is a current Board Member of the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Educational Association Steering Committee and the Workers’ Compensation Section’s Kids’ Chance Mediation Board. He was designated as the 2022 ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section, Workers’ Compensation and Employer Liability Law Rising Star. He was also selected as one of the Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 business leaders for 2023.

Daniel J. Hammett has become associated with the firm. 

Daniel brings years of experience litigating complex commercial disputes, bad faith claims for different lines of insurance, and other cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, employment law, and unfair competition. In addition to his achievements in both federal and state trial courts, Daniel has successfully argued before the Mississippi Supreme Court, a venue where he once served as a legal intern to the Honorable James W. Kitchens. At Wells Marble, Daniel will continue to practice in these areas, with a focus on the defense of bad faith claims against insurance carriers.
