Our co-worker and friend, Robert H. “Bob” Walker, passed away on February 23, 2021. Bob was born in Norfolk, VA, but spent most of his life as a resident of Mississippi. He attended the University of Mississippi where he earned a B.S. in Mathematics in 1969, a law degree in 1973, and became a lifelong and exuberant Ole Miss football fan.

Bob was married to the love of his life, Mary Frances Barrow, had two children, Eleanor Walker Pirtle and Johnston Walker, and four grandchildren. For many years, Bob was also a member at Wells Marble.

His 35-year law career included handling cases in numerous states and several foreign countries. He loved working with our firm, and everyone at Wells Marble was the beneficiary of many unique stories told by Bob as only he could tell them. However, his favorite things in life to do were to spend time with his family and to cycle with his friends.

We mourn his untimely death, but we celebrate the way he lived his life.
