On December 9th, Wells Marble obtained a defense verdict in a medical malpractice case. The trial, which lasted seven (7) days, was held in Hinds County Circuit Court and was presided over by Judge William Gowan. The trial team consisted of Stuart Robinson, Jr. (lead counsel),Richard Conrad, and Gayla Sanders. The Plaintiff claimed damages as the result of an alleged failed orthopedic surgical procedure allegedly resulting in amputation and asked the jury to award $ 5,000,000. The jury rejected the Plaintiff’s view of the evidence and found the defendant doctor and his clinic without fault.
