Wells Marble attorney, Richard Conrad, obtained a defense verdict for a state-administered intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Rankin County. Following the bench trial of a medical malpractice case wherein the plaintiffs claimed facility employees were grossly negligent and breached the standard of care in the care and treatment of their sister, who was a long-time resident at the facility, resulting in her wrongful death, the Court found there was no breach of the standard of care in her treatment, and her unfortunate death was not the result of any breach of the standard of care.
