Kelly Simpkins was one of the featured speakers at the 2010 International Claims Association annual conference, held in Austin, TX, October 3-6. Simpkins spoke to the conference attendees on the topic of Misrepresentation and Rescission. The presentation addressed the elements of rescission, the acts required to effectively rescind, the essentials for a proper and thorough claim investigation, and the impact of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act on rescissions in the context of a health claim.
